I'm amazed at the author's writing skills. There were several times in this book that I was left scratching my head, thinking, how did that happen? Then the event would be explained a chapter later and the reasoning behind it was brilliant! I loved Bones. (the hero vampire) He and Cat (heroine) have great chemistry. The voice was stellar. I especially loved the way Bones spoke. A reader would have known he was British even if the author never mentioned it. I also loved his backstory. Very well thought out and intriguing. Can you tell I love Bones? Sigh. He’s dreamy. Anyway, if you're thinking about buying this book, don't hesitate. It's a great read.
